I have a male cat who is about 5 years old. About 6 months ago he got constipated so I took him to the vet, gave him some meds to help him, changed his food (dry) and he has been fine ever since. Now he is showing signs again. He usually gorges his food down but will take a couple bites and leave it and then come back 30 mins later and eat a little more and leave it etc etc. He is also using the litter box more frequently. It looks like he is peeing just fine so I'm assuming he is constipated again. What can I do without goung to the vet? I am going to put him on wet canned food and I have some fiber powder the vet gave me last time. Anything else to help him? Is there any dry food I can switch to in the future that will prevent this?
