Hello everyone, As I cannot find any information on my question, I have come here for help. How do I take someone else's dogs for my own legally? Person won't give them up, but also is not capable of taking care of the dogs properly.
There are 2 dogs in the home I live in, ever since they have been here I made it my responsibility to take care of them like giving them food all the time. Every time they are sick, I am the one that takes them to the vet. I do my absolute best to try to keep them healthy. Meaning giving them food at the exact same time everyday(breakfast and dinner) and making sure they don't eat stuff they are not supposed to as well as taking care of them when they are sick.
Long story short, it's been almost 2 weeks that one of the dogs has been sick, as barely eating and sometimes slimy poop. Why did she get sick? Because eversince certain people came back from vacation, they have been eating at random times and eating stuff they are not supposed to eat. To them, she is not sick, to them she doesn't need to go to the vet, to them she is just being stubborn. So, I am not aloud to take her to the vet as I've been threatened to be kicked out of the house if I do(there have been physical abuse done to me too) . You see the problem and the way their twisted minds work?
The dog is obviously sick, she barely eats, plus the slimy poop. She has a special diet(GI food from the vet) that helps with this problem and if she would only eat this, she would get better in about 5 days and start to eat normally again. But the problem is that everytime someone specific always gives her something she isn't supposed to eat.
Example: today she only eats the food from the vet, tomorrow she will eat much better, then this moron comes and just because she's been eating better he gives her something else. The next day the dog goes back to not eating well and slimy poop. This continues and continues and continues. It's mind boggling frustrating. Even forcing food on her that obviously will make her sick. At this rate the dog will never get better and back to her normal self.
Anything that can be done to take dogs away from them and make them my own?
