So we adopted our dog Mokka from the shelter as a puppy, she was one of a litter. We did a DNA test and she’s mostly black lab and German Shepherd, with a bit of malamute. One of her brothers, Thor, was adopted by another lady.
Mokka and Thor went to the same obedience classes and remembered each other, they were so excited to play together it was very sweet!
Now she is four and recently we re-met Thor at the dog park.
And Thor’s owner is..... special.
This woman is very sweet but is such a TALKER and is full of the wildest crap but is so innocent about it you never know how to react. And she just talks and talks you can not get away.
And she loves to talk about Thor.
Some of the things she has said:
-
Thor makes a perfect guard dog because he is so big and muscular. (He’s fat.)
-
Thor must be part wolf because when she hold his floppy ears upright she imagines they look like wolf ears. (When we do the same to Mokka she looks like a fruit bat.)
-
She thinks the nubbin on the back of Thor’s skull is for tracking prey. Like some sort of GPS I guess? (Pretty sure it’s so the ligaments on his neck can attach to his head and hold it upright.)
-
Thor is still growing out of puppyhood at the age four because his collar keeps getting tighter. (I reiterate: he’s fat!!)
She’s as crazy as they come but at least there’s never a dull moment at the dog park.
