So, as the title states, I just adopted my first dog. She is a 9-month-old German Shepherd. And she's cute as they come. And incredibly friendly. However, she is almost completely skin and bone. You can feel each individual rib, as well as her spine, and hips. I just got her home a few hours ago, and she seems like a happy little girl. And I'm scheduled to take her to the vet later this week. But is there anything I should do for her now? She doesn't seem to be in pain, but she looks horribly malnourished. I'm going to give her a good bath and clean her up really well. But is there anything special I should do in terms of food for her?
