Let to start with we havent had him long, maybe three months. I found him severely neglected and injured on the side of the road. I brought him home and took him to the vet. I live in a very small town and dumping dogs is very common. No one came to claim him. The vet said he had been in fights and had alot of scars from it but that he was only 18 months old. He is super sweet to us and our two cats but his hair stands up on his back when around dogs. He even got into a fight with my aunts dog but her dog is aggressive and fights often. I dont think my dog would have started it but now I'm worried every time he is around another dog. He is every smart, is there a training technique I can use to get him to feel better when around other dogs.
Ps. The dog fight was an accident. I would never bring him around a dog if I knew he was aggressive. Also his isnt fixed yet. Will be in two weeks.
