Hi guys! My girlfriend is moving in with me and considering either bringing her male cat or leaving him with her brother. I'm a worrywart and while my female cat has been around a male cat before when she was a kitten and she was fine, the male cat who belonged to my brother at the time suddenly died from saddle thrombus one morning, and she hasn't been around any male cats for 3 years since his passing.
She's okay being around female cats, since she used to live with my sister's cat and recently shared a home with another female cat a few months ago, but should I be a bit worried if I introduce her to a male? She's spayed and never shows symptoms of being in heat or anything like that. Idk, am I overthinking? Will she behave the same way she would if it were another female cat? Any horror stories or success stories anybody would like to share? Thanks!
