My dog has gone

I knew Dotti was going to the vets today to have her leg checked but I had no idea how bad it was. I had just finished my first day at college and asked mum if Dotti had been. Mum just said ‘yep she’s gone’ it took me a moment to realise what she meant and i realised Dotti had been put down. It was because of an extremely aggressive cancer in her leg quite common in old greyhounds like her. The vet said to put her down was the kindest option . It was such a shock I wish I just saw her to say goodbye. Night Dotts xx
