Some back story. We were adopted by a kitten (about 4 weeks old) a few days ago, she has been to the vet and is on medicine for an upper respiratory and eye infection. I also have a 2 year old dog and he LOVES cats. Gets super excited when he sees them, makes a high pitch squeal that seems to never end. Since we have brought the kitten in, he spends his whole day staring at the door to the bedroom that the kitten is in. We have brought her out a few times to try to calm him down and he immediately starts licking her face and jumping all over her. Will he calm down after awhile? Is there anything we can do to help him get used to her?
