Neither my dog nor my kitten have been recently wanting to eat the “decent quality ($2-$3)” canned wet dog food I buy. They seemed fine for the first week and then both just stopped eating it. I feed them that whenever I’m out of the boiled Chicken with Brown rice that I normally make... which as of

Right now they are all over it and finished their bowls within a minute or 2 and can easily have seconds if they had the chance.

Compare this to the canned stuff which can sit untouched or finished in their bowls for half a day or even longer at times...

So my question is... why on earth would they be this picky and go hungry even if they have canned food in front of them?
