Hi everyone! I have a tortie named Calypso and she is 8 years old. I recently got a kitten 2 months ago, and they’ve been getting along fairly well. For the past week, Calypso has been acting strange. She’s normally a chill cat and not very excitable, but lately she’s been hiding from me and acting lethargic. She’s been avoiding food and drooling. Not dripping, but enough that her chin is covered in drool for most of the day and it smells weird. She rarely leaves underneath my bed and I’ve seen her only a couple times in the past few days. I took her to the vet earlier this week and her blood test came back perfectly normal, as well as the doctor saying the exam was normal as well. She’s only getting worse and I don’t know what to do. Is this a delayed symptom of stress from getting a new kitten? Or is something bigger going on that I can’t find? I could use all the help I can get as I am really worried. Thank you all so much.
