Just got a rescue dog. He was found under a porch eating and laying in his own feces. According to the rescue this caused areas of his fur to fall off. Then, when they dipped him for parasites, exposing his bare skin to this chemicals caused him to have blisters. There is a area on his leg that is quite swilen. The lady that handed him over to me said that the rescue prefers that we use oils before we use chemicals oh him. I think that he needs antibiotics but they said to wait a couple of days to see if it works. Am I just being over protective? Should I just follow the rescues advice? The only thing that I have heard about oils in general is that they are bad for dogs and just a way to cheat you out of money. Has anyone ever had any experience like this?
