I want to make it perfectly clear. I love my cat. He's adorable, he sleeps with me is super cuddly but... And this is a big but, I am feeling a serious amount of regret and animosity growing towards him.
He has essentially destroyed 2 pieces of upholstered furniture, 2 sets of sheets. Mad with impossible to have lamps any where and has continuously knocked art off the walls. Recently he's been getting into kitchen cabinets and just knocking shit out of them.
Now before I'm attacked by people saying "he's just bored" this cat gets my full and undivided attention when I'm home, he has two cat condos, 4 scratching posts, and toys like you wouldn't believe. I engage with him in play activity EVERY DAY and there are plenty of toys he can bat around and play with when I'm at work. He has constant access to water and food. I am at my wit's end. It's his house and I'm a guest. I feel like I can't have ANY nice things any more.
