So for a little backstory my cat is about 6ish years old and I've had her since she was a kitten, she had never been an animal to pee on clothes for her entire life up until about a week or so ago when I went to grab my sweatshirt and it smelled like cat urine, I accepted that it might be my fault I left it out but took note that it was pretty out of the ordinary. Later on she continued to go on a pissing spree and pee on every article of clothing left out from sweatshirts, to shirts, to pants, and at that point I was seriously getting heated over this BS and having to constantly wash my clothes, not to mention she never peed on the same sweatshirt, shirt, or anything else up to this point twice. So come 3 days ago I lay down in bed and my cat joins me and I notice the overwhelming scent of cat urine, so I check around the blanket and find a large wet spot of (of course) cat piss. At this point I'm completely pissed because I just want to sleep so I take the blanket and put in it in the wash and go to sleep. Next day when the blankets clean I lay it on my bed and close the door so she can't get in while I'm gone just for me to come home, get on my computer, and at some point while i was on my PC she peed on it. Again. So I'm now on the third day and I have no idea what to do, I'm not gonna repeat my same mistake and bring out that blanket again since shes already pissed on it twice and is gonna piss on it again. I'd really like to know, what can I do to stop my cat from peeing on my stuff, mainly my bedding.
Yes, she has a clean litter box daily.
I personally think its a behavioral issue and I don't want to resort to locking her out of my room 24/7 since its really nice having her in here but I'm not gonna tolerate her pissing on my bedding.
