It’s like a person clearing their throat. He does this when he sees his favorite toy, when he sees me, when I call him, when I get some food he wants, but also when he jumps up, jumps down, gets up, start running. He does this all the time instead of meowing, which is weird because he’s a Siamese rescue and these cats are supposed to be pretty vocal. And he does meow, but only when I come home and when he gets bathes or shots. Recently he’s developed a habit of coming up to me and making this throat noise. When I don’t give him what he wants he nips me pretty hard. And I don’t have any idea what he wants. I’ve tried giving him attention, giving him a toy, multiple toys, food, letting him out, all ends with me getting bitten. Most times he ends up walking away or going to sleep. He’s neutered btw. So does my cat really want to tell me something or is it just him being a little shit?
