What pet should I get?
Ever since I was little I have had such a strong passion for animals. I really just love animals, of all sizes and shapes (except spiders - if those count as animals). I live away from home at college now and desperately miss the fun and joy of having a pet. When I was born, my parents had a huge green iguana, a snake, and a chameleon. My dad now has two chameleons and a Carpet Python. We also had four cats, all of which lived to be over 18 years old. Needless to say, I have been surrounded by a variety of domestic animals in my lifetime.
Now, a 23-year-old woman, I have been wanting and searching for a pet that would be a good fit for me and my lifestyle. I need something that isn't a SUPER giant commitment, but an animal that will show me affection and comfort. My boyfriend lives an hour away for me and sometimes I go to his place for the weekend. I have class and work during the day, but I am always home at night. I have a part-time job and I also get some financial help from my parents.
Help me brainstorm!
