We've got 2 cats - Fluffy & Salem, Salem is allowed out whenever he likes and always comes back. Fluffy is allowed out when it's light out, but if he gets out and its dark he normally doesn't come home. He's just come back after 2 weeks away, his longest period away was over 2 months.
So far we've tried TabCat trackers (Range is too poor, and they are fairly unreliable) and bought a MicroChip catflap and put a curfew on it so he can't get out past 5pm (but somehow he manages to bypass this and escape).
Neither of these have helped obviously, and he continues to run away! Is there anything else we can do to keep him at home? He loves being outside to much to be an indoor cat, and if we tried to he would still escape somehow.
Are there any recommended GPS trackers or anything like that that's worth looking into? He always comes back with ticks on him and the same collar he left with, so I don't think he's found another home.
