So currently my almost two year old daughter and I are living with my parents. We have two dogs and three cats here and they all have amazing qualities and can be lovey creatures. But despite this, I fucking hate our newish rescue. We got him about a year ago (he is a puggle) and he terrorizes every other animal in the house. He nips at our older and larger dog’s heels and face constantly, causing them to get into a heated and LOUD play fight all the time, including the middle of the night. He attacks and chases all of the cats which our other dog never did before him. He steals food from people, out of my little daughters hand, and from all of the other animals. He walks in front of you, causing you to fall or kick him all the time. And through all of the training we’ve done with him, all of the different ways we have tried to teach him to NOT do those things, he doesn’t stop. I’m so sick of it. I don’t want to offend my family or sister who love him by suggesting rehoming, but he’s a literal pest to me. And it sucks because sometimes he’s a great dog and it makes me feel so guilt about hating him.
