I’m 17 and I live in a basement for rent with my mother, who’s usually not around because of work. Things have been very stressful lately and I find the loneliness being more unbearable then ever and I have to ask, are there any pets that are suited for being raised in a basement? I’ve been recommended getting a hamster/rat but I’m worried about the smell. The basement is only two bedroom so it is quite small... Anyways, I’d appreciate any and all answers! ^
