Hi everybody it’s my first time posting on here. So I live with my mom and our cat Merlin. We just moved in with my moms boyfriend and his 3 dogs. My cat is very scared of the dogs and refuses to go anywhere near them. I can tell it is stressing him out. I don’t want my cat to become a completely outside cat which is what my mom is suggesting, and her boyfriend is suggesting that he holds the animals down and makes them touch noses which he did with a cat before and it made them get along. I think the best decision would be to give my cat to a home without dogs. While I will miss my cat I think it’s best for it’s wellbeing. My question is which option is best? Outside only cat, make the animals touch noses, or give my cat to a new home?
