I have two kittens. One is 6 months old and the other is 5 months old. We have had the 5 month old kitten for about a month and he has been really great. He plays with my other cat and loves to snuggle and play. All of the sudden two nights ago, he was on the bed with my fiancé and me. Out of nowhere he got really spooked and flew into the air and onto the ground. We initially thought he just got scared because one of us moved our foot and startled him.
Ever since then, he has been super on edge and seems to be very frightened. He won’t let anyone pet him and never came into our room the last two nights. Nothing has changed in our household and I’m really baffled as to why he could be acting like this, seemingly out of nowhere.
It’s starting to make me sad because I hate seeing him like this. I don’t know what happened or how I can help him. Has anyone experienced this before?
