Pickle is my cat. He has had a habit of chewing electric cords ever since he was a kitten. I am a musician and sound engineer, so I keep my studio off limits to Pickle. The problem is he scratches on my door and whines constantly when i'm practicing. I've tried using a spray bottle with water but he has learned to run away once I open the door to give him a disciplinary spritz. It also seems like he is acclimatizing to the water bottle. Are there any cat psychology tricks for curtailing this whiney little guy? I just want to be able to work in peace but he is severely limiting my ability to get anything done.
