So I’ve had my cat for around 8 years now. She lives in our house but goes inside and outside throughout the day. Ever since she was little she has not been very nice, she bites and scratches if you try to cuddle her or pick her up.
The only time she ever purrs on us or let’s us pet her for a little while is if she’s trying to get cozy in one of our beds or on the couch, if she’s hungry, or if I go into the bathroom at night to wash my face. Then she comes and starts purring on me while I get ready for bed for some reason (she stays in our bathroom when we go to sleep because we have an alarm system in our house that gets set at night).
I always wish she’d be more cuddly and affectionate like my neighbors cat is. Is her temperament able to be changed at this rate?
