I have two cats both about six months apart in age and I rescued them each at eight weeks old, now over six years old. My boy Sirius died suddenly of a heartattack and my girl Lilly has been loosing it. She won't stop meowing, she's frantically searching the house for him, regressed to pawing and suckling on my clothing like she did when I first got her, standing in the places of the house that was his spots, not eating as much as usual. She's a very clingy animal with me all the time so she's never alone as I'm a SAHM. I'm a wreck myself, can't stop crying at the sudden loss, but I want to know if there's anyway I can help make the transition to life without our beautiful boy easier on her or if we just need to ride it out? Breaks my heart seeing her struggle also.
