Hi, I'm looking for a lightweight item that is reusable and very secure (won't break or disconnect) and opens and closes quickly. It's purpose is to provide an extra layer of security to keep my pet on their leash even if they get out of their harness. I'm looking for a rope-like item under 6 inches in length that can connect to my pet's elastic collar D ring and his harness D ring.
Any suggestions? I've looked at things like carabiners, bungees, zip ties, cinch cords, bike lock style cords but all have been too long, too heavy or not secure enough. The bike lock cord is most akin to what I'm looking for... some sort of lightweight cord that justs loops through the rings and securely fastens at the ends. Appreciate the collective brainstorming.
