So my dog is about 15, doing very well for her age, but I(21) no longer live with my family, and my little sister(6) loves my dog too much for me to take her so I hardly get to see her. I live an hour away so I am not involved in my dog’s medical stuff, I don’t know if nor do I think my mom’s even been taking her to the vet recently.
Anyway, she’s laying between my legs at the moment, and she has her butt towards me. I can see small brown specks in her fur near the base of her tail, but I don’t see any legs. Around the area I see those specs, I see in her skin what looks like blackheads you’d find on your own face. She’s lost her hair around the area and I’m pretty sure it’s fleas. I don’t see any pictures online that look quite like this. Has anyone seen something similar? (5:30am so I can’t take her to the vet quite yet) she has a sore near her butt and she licks it raw so I’m very worried about those two things being so close together.
Any advice would be appreciated
