In search of a good, sturdy dog gate that won't budge - PLEASE HELP

Hi!

TL;DR recently moved into a house with 2 dogs, one that is way more aggressive than the other, with my cat. Need a dog gate that he won't push down because we don't want to introduce them to my cat.

My fiance got a really good job opportunity that is going to take us across the country but the timing is pretty bizarre. He is moving out there on NYE but I will be staying back to finish my last semester before going out there in May. Over this past weekend, we packed up and broke the lease on our apartment and we moved into my parents house with our cat which is where me and our cat will live until I make the move. We have our own room and all of the cat's stuff is comfortably in there. My parents have 2 dogs and one of them is extremely territorial and runs their house basically. Pushes in doors, scratches door frames, pushes his way into rooms, ect. My parents are stressed that he will push down my door and are pushing for us to force an introduction but our vet made it very clear that our cat may not be into that throughout the whole 4 months of being there - let alone right off the bat - and to keep them apart as long as that is working for both the dogs and cat.

So far, our cat has done super well adjusting to the new room and locating all of his things but some potential stresses have come up. My teenage brother has been having a hard time not monitoring the door as he's entering/exiting the room and the dogs have gotten close to darting in. The cat also starts hissing when he can hear the dogs walking around outside the door. Everyone in the house works and goes to school so there is nobody home to monitor all of the animals, which is usually no problem but my fear is that with nobody there if the dogs hear the cat they may bust down the door.

Our room is in a hallway and my parents gave me the go-ahead to get a gate to block off the hallway but are incredibly skeptical it will work. The dogs aren't prone to jumping that high but the aggressive dog especially has been successful in plowing down barriers they've tried to set up in the past.

Please Reddit, if you have any heavy duty gate ideas for me, please advise. I just want all of the animals to be safe and as least stressed out as possible.
