My cat has a tear duct infection and I’m concerned.

My cat has what I think is a tear duct infection.

Species: Feline Age: 4 months Sex: Male Breed: Orange Tabby Body Weight: Maybe 5 pounds.

I think my kitten has a tear duct infection. The area is swollen, red and pink and has bits of dried discharge in it, that I’ve attempted to clean out, but have been unsuccessful. He’s had it for a few days at this point; and I’m not exactly sure how he would have gotten it.

I don’t know what it is, or how he would have gotten it. Can anyone help me, please? I’m very concerned.
