Hey guys, i'm facing a mystery.
I live with my girlfriend and we adopted a male cat back in september. He was about 2-3 month old. I'm at home way more than my girlfriend, and the cat's behavior is very different when she is away. When she is here, he is often very excited, sometimes even mean (bitting us and so forth), whereas when she's away he's the kindest of boy and waaaay calmer.
He doesn't seem to hate her, he likes her, sleeps on her etc.. it's just that when she's here he goes crazy way more than when she isn't, and can be equally as mean toward me as toward her.
For example, she's been gone for three days and when she's here it's not possible at all to let the cat access the bedroom at night as he will wake us up every thirty minutes, sometimes by biting us. For the last three days he slept with me with and there was not a single incident.
Have you guys an idea on why is he like that and can it be fixed ? I think my girlfriend would like to meet this kind boy i'm telling her about haha.
