In the past 1-2 days, my 10 year old cat stopped eating and drinking. However, he is still responsive, and is purring when I approach him. Although, he does seem to prefer quieter places (more than usual), and he isn't as social as he normally is. I went to the vet today since my cat suffered from 30% renal failure a while ago, and after a radiograph and physical check up the vet deduced that it was not a renal issue in this case. But, he couldn't specify what the exact issue is, and told me to simply wait another day.
Anyone experienced anything like this with their cats (super worried :/)?
