My boss recently moved his trailer into the side of my house and is living there.
My male dog, who is literally the kindest dog I have ever met and wouldnt hurt a soul even to protect me, is cool with my boss, as expected.
My female dog however barks and nips at him whenever hes in the yard. I have tried to introduce them and shes fine as long as I'm there. I have her sniff his hand and pet her and tell her "good girl" to teach her hes a friend, but whenever hes alone shes aggressive.
Luckily, my male dog will literally push her away from my boss when she nips at him, but he can't always get there first.
I'm not sure how to handle this with her, shes never bit any of us or any guests. This is the first time shes ever behaved this way and it's to the point that I've got to keep her crated any time hes out and about. I got her as a pup so shes had no negative reinforcement or treatment.
