Hi, I recently decided to include a new member to my family, a 1yo female poodle-mixed breed that I adopted from a shelter for animals victims of cruelty, I introduced her to my other dog (male, also half poodle, 2yo) and they seemed to get along, but my new dog is really friendly, which surprised me after been victim of abuse, and is constantly asking for being peted, which my first dog is not really a fan of, if he is around when I'm petting her he gets really jealous and grouls at her and sometimes tries to bite her, luckily with not enough strength to harm her, but she as I said before, has been victim of abuse and she kinda freaks out, and I really don't want her to have a hard time after all she has gone through. So if someone else has experienced something similar I will be really thankful if you shared some tips to help me handle the situation, I tried to make them spend time together alone in a 'safe space' of sorts, and they really enjoy that and get along, but when I'm around is all jealousy and harshness.
Thanks for your help, and sorry for any typos or grammar errors, English is not my mother language.
