My male cat is very particular about his litter. I experimented with several different litters and he clearly preferred the finest grain clay litter, Ever Clean unscented, which was also low-dust and clumped well. However, stores near me have recently stopped carrying this brand and it isn't stocked reliably on Amazon (and considering the price, I'm not too upset about this). In the meantime I've tried World's Best Cat Litter and a wheat-based litter, but my cat nor myself are too thrilled with these (mostly texture for him and scent / clumping for me... when I scoop it, not when I use it :). If anyone has recommendations for litter, specifically with fine particle sizes, that would be much appreciated!
