(I am aware of rule #4 and would like to preface this post by saying: I am asking for medical reasoning, NOT sympathy)
I just bought a love bird 3 days ago. She was doing fine, was eating, flew around in my room, and was visually generally doing well. I did have one concern during the short time I had her, as she never drank water. However, that may not be related to her death. I was in my kitchen (which is the the room at the top of the basement and she flew off my stick, and down the stairs. She landed just fine, but wasn't moving after. She had flown from equal distances in the past. I went down the stairs to see if she would step back on the stick and she began violently shaking, as if she was having a seizure. She then flopped over and died in my hands. Could it be that she broke something while landing? Do you think she was sick before all of this? I am confused and upset. Any insight would be appreciated.
