I've had congestion and sniffling for the past week, something i usually contribute to my dog allergy. Since my dog's hair is EVERYWHERE, it's impossible to tell what's causing my allergy. I've tried like... putting my face close to my cats and it hasn't made me any more congested or sniffly than normal, but I'm terrified of developing an allergy. I'm getting an emotional support cat at some point before college, and due to my dog allergy, dogs are a no go for an ESA. Is it possible to randomly out of nowhere be allergic to cats? My family fosters and we have 4 cats of our own, and I've never had a problem with them before, only when I hug or pet my dog.
