Earlier this year we adopted a cat from our local rescue in London. Since bring her home we've noticed that she has runny poop and sometimes goes poop outside her litter box.
- we've switched her from standard food (applaws and science diet) to hypoallergenic food - still has diarrhea.
- we clean her litter box multiple times a day (I work from home so I clean it once she uses it).
- she has access to outside anytime but she chooses to stay in mostly.
- we live in a quiet peaceful home where she is comfortable and playful - no signs of stress.
We are awaiting a call from the vet to find out what is in her poo and what the problem may be.
If you've been in a similar situation and have any advice for me and my husband we would be super grateful.
It is maddening waking up in the morning and seeing a rogue poo on the wood, and constantly has her leak runny poo all over the floor.
