I've got two 2-year-old pit-bulls fresh back from their annual check-up by the family vet (my wife and I go to them, her parents went to them with their pets, etc.) and the vet doesn't even have an answer for why these two just PISS EVERYWHERE, ALWAYS.
The area of the house that's reserved for being the dog-room has be cleaned basically daily because of this. The wood flooring has to be replaced because of the amount of piss soaked into the corners.
The vet put them on multiple different UTI-specific antibiotics and we've even gotten to the point of regulating water, but really medically there isn't ANYTHING wrong with them. They just have an ungodly amount of piss stored up at all times. I take them outside regularly on a schedule, and even still they piss the floors. I even have them kenneled now whenever I am not around and, guess what, they piss their kennels. They just don't seem to be phased by it. It's just a thing to do.
I'm at my wit's end with the issue. I love them, I'm not getting rid of them, but this one specific problem is literally just costing me money now. I want to know how to fix the issue.
It's as sudden an issue as of earlier this year. For literally no reason. They were house-trained when it began, but when it began it just will not end.
Please help.
