there's a german shepard thats been wandering around my neighborhood for the past couple months. we know who the owners are but they don't care about it and we've returned it to their house multiple times. it constantly seems pretty hungry and we live on a really busy street so im afraid of it getting hit. it seems pretty calm, will go up to people and let them pet it, and it even uses the crosswalk like a normal person. financially, i am able to care for it and i also have the time, but im just wondering if this is a bad idea because i have only ever dealt with other people's dogs
