Is my cat okay?

This isn’t too big of a deal, but I’m just very confused a kind of shocked. So I have a cat and he’s about 2 years old now. He was in my room just walking about. My grandma opened my door and started talking to me. After about 30 seconds into our conversation, my cat turned around to my grandma, and the strangest thing happened: he ran under my bed as fast as he could, like he had just seen a ghost or heard gunfire. I’ve never seen him run this fast before, he’s always been fine around my grandma. My grandma mentioned he doesn’t really like her, but she’s never laid a hand on him before. He wouldn’t come out from under the bed until after she left, and was staring at her from under like he was really cautious and scared. Anybody has any idea why this happened? I truly have NEVER seen him bolt this fast before. I’ve seen him run if we scare him by accident or if we turn on the vacuum, but NEVER this fast.
