Quick back story - I moved in with my partner last week and brought the cat with me. I have a litter tray which i've put in the bathroom, along with a black mat that collects the kicked out litter.
She took to the litter tray very quickly, and does all her poo in there with no issue. For some reason though she pees on the black mat that's sat outside the litter tray. I have to wash this on a daily basis, and today I left the mat in the (empty) bath to dry off.
So she peed in the same spot, but this time on the floor, no mat. Its fine as we have laminate flooring not carpet, but how do i get her out of this routine of peeing on the floor?
