We took our 8 yo beagle to the vet and he says our dog has recently developed a stage III/IV heart murmer most likely due to mitral valve regurgitation. He did an x-ray and saw slight enlargement in that area of the heart. We have an appointment scheduled to see a cardiologist in 2 weeks, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this because now I'm getting worried. Our beagle is very active and has shown no loss of appetite or lethargy.
