Hi. I guess there’s no formal way to introduce the situation, so I’ll get straight to it.
Last Saturday my eight month old kitten started acting strange, he was very reclusive and running away from everyone in the family. Once we got a good look at him, we saw that his third eye or eyelid was covering his right eye more than usual. As well, he looked teary-eyed. We all contemplated taking him to the emergency vet two hours away (as our normal vet was closed by the time we noticed.) Also, his stool was fine and he was eating normally. Luckily, it resolved on its own and during this week he was back to his active self.
Now, the problem has occurred again today, but this time in left eye. He still is eating normally, his stool is a little softer and only today he has been less active. We’re definitely taking him to our local vet tomorrow as they’ll be open, but in the meanwhile, has anyone has any experienced anything like this before?
Thank you.
