My friend has a puppy she has to get rid of and needs it gone ASAP. I would like to introduce the puppy slowly but with her needing to get the dog out of her house quickly that isn't an option. As long as my apartment doesn't have breed restrictions I'd likely be getting the dog in the next 3 weeks after she's got her rabies shots. How do I introduce this potential new member of the family to my 10 year old, very bonded cat? He's lived with dogs before but that was when he was much younger and I dont want to upset my poor old boy.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
