I recently got a kitten (she's about three months old) and I'm planning on getting her spayed, but when I brought up this topic with my mother, she told me that after two of her cats got spayed/neutered, they would spasm a bit whenever you pet or touched their back half. This apparently lasted about a year or two and I'm really worried about something similar happening to my kitten. What could cause something like this? Is there risk of spinal damage in spaying? Please help, I'm panicking and I don't know what to do
