[Discussion] Is it normal for a cat to softly groan when pooping?

Shes a 15 year old domestic shorthair, with hyperthyroidism, and arthritis. I never watch her go, but I did yesterday, and she let out a cou9ke very soft moans. Her poops were the shape of grapes. I moved her litter box up stairs, so I could watch her closer. She went just a little bit ago. She dated in the litter box for a little bit, all calm. I got up to go look at her, then she laid down, like she was going to sleep. Suddenly she got up, scratched around then popped, along with some soft grunts, but her poop looked a lot more normal this time. Other then that, shes acting normal. She has a checkup scheduled on the 27th, but do you think I should they in being her in tommarrow instead, or wait a couple more days, to see If the apparent constipation goes away? Shes on dry food btw. It's the hills d/y.
