Does anyone have tips for giving eye drops to cats?

My cat has a really bad ulcer in her eye that caused a bacterial infection, so we have to give her 3 different antibactierals in the form of eye drops. One is every two hours, the other two are one every four.

At first she struggled to take the drops, but the past day or so it has been a nightmare to try to administer the drops.

How we typically go about it is how the vet walked us through it. We bring her up to the counter so we arent towering over her, we pet her until she seems relaxed, my girlfriend restrains her as gently as possible and I try to lift her lid to give her the set of drops. We give a little time in between for her to recover and have some treats as positive reinforcement. But she is really fed up with it and its getting hard to get the drops in and I dont want to waste them.

Any tips?
