I need some veterinary advice during the pandemic (telehealth)

Hello,

I have an almost 14 year old dog who so far has proven to have great genetics for staying healthy. However, she has shown signs of arthritis or hip dysphasia for a long time. I did not attribute it to either of those until she recently gained some weight and now sometimes has joint issues, especially apparent after getting up.

She doesn’t seem to be in serious pain at the moment, she still enjoys being pet and last night she was able to enjoy a walk around the park without showing any obvious signs of pain. However, I am worried about her joint health.

With the pandemic, what have you guys been doing to get your dog seen by a veterinarian? The only places where it’s not difficult to get an appointment are a bit out of my price range and I don’t want to go there unless I find they are my only option. Have any you guys tried veterinary telehealth? Particularly in California?
