My boyfriends cat is a girl and about 2 years old and she is fixed. She is also the only pet in the house. So she apparently has been peeing on things since he first got her. She likes to pee on his roommates beds and on any clothes or blankets on the floor. He doesn’t get mad at her for it “just in case it’s a medical condition”. It seems to me like she does it because it’s more comfortable for her considering she never pees on his bed or her favorite blankets.
I am wondering what he should do? We are hoping to move into a place together eventually but I told him I cannot live with him if his cat continues to pee on everything. It drives me nuts. And I feel bad because I have animosity towards him AND his cat for this. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? Is going to the vet his only option?
