Hi so i need some advice! Basically i have been wanting a cat for a little over a year now, but i have really nervous because 1. I have never had a cat before only dogs, cats are a little intimidating, and 2. I am a college student, i live in a rental apartment with 3 other friends (they all love animals) but the apartment also comes furnished so nothing inside it is mine, i am worried that if i get a cat he or she will scratch it all up. Any advice? I was thinking maybe i should get an older cat that is more relaxed and just loves to sleep and cuddle that would be ideal. If anyone has any advice or tips on how to bond with a cat or opinion on if i should even get a cat please let me know!
