Kitten Peeing/Pooping Outside Litter Box with Aggressive Playing w/ Hands/Feet

Hey all, so 4 weeks ago I brought home a ragdoll kitten. I was told that he was litter trained, and at first he did use his litter box very well. However, lately he has been engaging in digging behaviours/actions in random spots and then unless someone picks him up and puts him in his litter box, he’ll pee or poop at that spot. And sometimes if you move him to the box he’ll just jump back out of it. He’s about 12 weeks old right now. At first I just thought he was forgetting where his litter box was, but I don’t think that’s the case anymore. Also, when he does use his litter box he sometimes does odd behaviours like digging way too much, or not burying his “business” at all and then engaging in digging motions on the floor once he steps outside of his box. What should I do?

Oh and bonus question (matters less but I’d also appreciate advice on this):

He attacks/plays with hands and feet A LOT. He’ll also try and climb my body. I know it’s partly just normal playful kitten behaviour but he seems to enjoy attacking my hands and feet more than any toy. He also doesn’t want to let me sleep, and will claw at my face to wake me up and get me to play with him. Is there anything I can do about this? I don’t have any other cats currently, and I do think that’s part of it as he maybe misses his sisters.

Thanks in advance!
