We are feeding him raw food (chicken mince with bone) supplemented with vegetables and pork/chicken liver.
For the past 5 or 6 weeks he's been shedding a lot more hair than usual and is starting to have bald spots.
We rang our vet as we couldn't go to them due to Coronavirus and they issued a course of steroids, antibiotics (for a separate issue) and fish oil. However, the shedding hasn't stopped.
Of course I will call my vet back once the steroids and antibiotics are finished but I just wanted to check on here to see if anyone else had any more information or advice to stop me from worrying.
Also it's been hot here the past few weeks but I wouldn't expect that much shedding from a short-coat animal.
